About Cups of Compassion

About Cups of Compassion
We created Cups of Compassion for a few reasons:
First, to be a reminder to “drink in” compassion for yourself each and every day. Second, to help you “drink in” compassion for the other people in your world. Third, to provide an exceptional coffee drinking experience that is ethically sourced, easy on your body, and of course, absolutely delicious.
We want to live in a more compassionate world, and you can be a part of that mission. That’s why a portion of our proceeds is donated to the furtherance of nursing education. Compassionate, committed, and caring, nurses form the backbone of the health care world. Unfortunately, there is a massive nursing shortage. By supporting Cups of Compassion, you demonstrate your willingness to help us impact the future of nursing. The future says “thank you!”
Tena Brown is an empathy educator, patient advocate, and inspirational speaker. During the last 25 years, she has traveled the world delivering workshops and keynote talks to help medical professionals, businesses, and individuals develop empathy skills to create positively unforgettable experiences.
Tena created Cups of Compassion in response to the nursing shortage crisis which has only been exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic. More than anything, Tena’s goal is to help people realize their potential and use their unique stories to create compassionate connections with others.

Cups of Compassion is honored to support nurses and health care providers across the country through the CeraVe Coffee Break program, powered by our friends at CeraVe skincare.
Our founder, empathy educator Tena Brown presents a 30-minute virtual talk to health care audiences in a webinar format, and attendees receive gifts from Cups of Compassion and CeraVe. The themes of the chats include the importance of self-care, tips for creating positive patient experiences, and appreciation for health care providers.
If you are a nurse or health care provider, you can find out more by speaking with your CeraVe representative or you can visit TenaBrown.com/coffee to sign up for an upcoming chat.
